Working at camp is more than just a summer job, it is a meaningful experience in which staff gain valuable life skills—all while having fun. While working at camp, you also join a wonderful Jewish community. You will develop deep friendships, gain new mentors, all the while impacting the connection and learning for campers – not to mention the free room and board. Working at 6 Points Specialty Camps is a unique experience because we have specialized focuses. Staff at our camps gain professional skills similar to those learned through internships in the fields of education, science and technology, performing arts, psychology, marketing, and sports management, while also enjoying the benefits of working at camp.
6 Points Sports Academy
As a member of the 6 Points Sports Academy staff, you will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of young Jewish athletes while developing important lifelong skills and having the summer of your life! We’re looking for competent and energetic applicants who demonstrate a love of working with young people, a desire to help build a community, and a deep passion for sports. Our campers and staff choose one sport to focus on from either Basketball, Baseball, Softball, Tennis, Swimming, Gymnastics, Golf, Volleyball, Lacrosse, Cheer & Dance, or Soccer. At 6 Points Sports Academy we develop athletic skills through intensive training with top-level coaches, embrace Judaism through our seamlessly integrated Jewish Values program, and create the next generation of proud Jewish athletes. 6 Points Sci-Tech Academy
At 6 Points Sci-Tech Academy, scientific inquiry meets fun! Our staff create an incredible immersive experience blending Science and technology with Judaism through workshops and leading Chugim (electives). Our workshops include Robotics, Video game design, Programming and coding, Digital film production, Chemistry, Digital Art, Cryptology, Behavioral Sciences, and more! Throughout their experience, campers explore what Judaism means to them—and how can create a more whole, just and compassionate world through science and technology. Our five core values shape our community: kavod (respect), kesher (connection), sakranut (curiosity), taglit (discovery), and savlanut (patience). In addition to these five core values, each person brings their own special value to camp! What will you bring this summer to 6 Points Sci-Tech Academy?
6 Points Creative Arts Academy
At 6 Points Creative Arts, the program staff work together to create a holistic, meaningful experience for artists and performers. Through major and minor workshops, including Creative Writing, Dance, Instrumental Music Ensemble, Musical Theatre, Photography, Shakespeare,Visual Art, and Vocal Music Ensemble, staff challenge themselves to continue their development as artists, while taking on an instructional role helping our campers acquire new skills. Specialists from the field and our counselors serve as compelling role models who weave Jewish values, ethics, and tradition together with the spirit and excitement of a dynamic creative artistic community.
